Alex was born in Fort Bliss, Texas on May 8, 1996. He and his mom moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2000. As a toddler and young child, he was constantly performing with his stuffed animals and making his own mini-movies with his mom’s digital camera. His love of acting developed at an early age although he did not seriously consider it as a career until he performed in an elementary school play in fourth grade called The Revolutionary War. Alex showed the audience how to cook “Minute Man stew” and received huge laughs. After that, Alex enrolled in acting classes coupled with private coaching lessons and group workshops in Denver. He also engaged in local theatre productions – his favorite role being that of Billy Ray, Jr. in the E-Project Theatre production of On Golden Pond. His love for performing grew as he developed a sense of character breakdowns, improv ability and On Camera vs. Stage movement. During the summer of 2007, Alex made a small appearance in the movie, Ink – a sci-fi thriller produced in Denver, Colorado by Double Edge Films.
In March 2008, Alex performed his first voice over role as one of the wild boys in the animated film, Wild Man. This film will be showcased at upcoming film festivals by producer, Jodie Baltazar.
Alex continues to take on projects as he has a tentative movie contract for release at the end of 2008. Additionally, he is writing a screenplay - a children's fairytale based upon some very unique and curious little creatures who embark upon some exciting adventures with a boy.
Alex’s other interests include helicopter flying and a passion for animals. He is enrolled in pilot training in Los Angeles and will be able to take his first solo flight when he is 16 years old. He also promotes environmental awareness with regard to preserving animal habitats and endangered species.
